6.2.3.2 Drop-down Menu Button
Clicking this button will open a drop-down menu, in which you can perform these operations:
Monitor Silence: In the normal status, you can select it to silence current bedside
monitor. In the case that the bedside monitor is silenced, you can select it to reactivate
the bedside monitor’s audible prompts.
Audio Paused: In the normal status, you can select it to pause the alarm sound of the
current bedside monitor for a period of time, which can be set on the monitor. Please
refer to 8.7 Pausing Alarm Sound on Monitors for the patient window’s alarm sound
pause.
Silence: You can select it to acknowledge the ongoing alarm. Both the monitor and
corresponding patient window will enter the alarm silence status. Please refer to 8.6
Silencing Alarms for the patient window’s alarm silence status.
Alarm Pause: In the normal status, you can select it to pause all alarms of the current
patient for a period of time, which can be set on the monitor. The default alarm pause
time is 2 minutes. During the alarm pause, you can select it to reactivate the paused
alarms.
STANDBY: If a telemetry transmitter is connected, in the normal monitoring status, you
can select it to have an exit from displaying, analyzing, storing or recording the current
patient’s physiological waveforms and data, with all alarms and sounds disabled and the
icons of Nurse Call, Event, Battery Capacity and Received Signal Strength remained on
the screen. In the Standby mode, you can select it to restore the normal monitoring mode.
If a bedside monitor is connected, selecting it enables the bedside monitor to exit the
state of standby.
Freeze: In the normal status, you can select it to freeze the dynamic waveforms with
freeze time and time scales displayed in the waveform area. In the frozen status, clicking
it will restore the dynamic waveforms.
Print: You can select it to start real-time printing.
Record: You can select it to start real-time recording.
ViewBed: You can select it to enter the “ViewBed” tab sheet.
Discharge Patient: You can select it to open the “Discharge” dialogue box.
Patient Mgmt.: You can select it to enter the “Patient Mgt” Tab sheet.
Display Setup: You can select it to enter the “Display Setup” tab sheet.
Alarm Setup: You can select it to enter the “Alarm Setup” tab sheet
Big Numerics: In Big Numerics screen, major parameters are displayed in big numerics
for better viewing. In this case, you can switch to normal screen by selecting “Normal
Screen” from the drop-down menu.
Privacy Mode: Open the “Multibed” menu, select and set current bed or all beds to
Privacy Mode.
